Director of Operations

We’re looking for a Director of Operations to lead the entire operations team. This requires strong expertise in a range of competencies including leadership, developing team skills, change management, business consulting, project management and account management with technical professional services. The right person for this role will bring a passion for creating repeatability and predictability in a highly complex technical and operational environment.


The Director of Operations will lead a broad group of technical and operations team members to successfully deploy GTR™ products and services while continually seeking to expand adoption of GTR™ solutions. The right candidate has a history of ensuring the delivery of the highest quality product and services across organizations. They are a “boots on the ground” leader who has a big picture view while still being in the trenches.


This position reports to the President/CEO.

Key Responsibilities


  • Direct Communication with staff. In person and remote staff.

  • Understand all products and services offered by GTR™.

  • Advanced proficiency with technology.

  • Assign accounts to team members. Track progress and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Act as a resource for all GTR™ clients when issues/questions arise.

  • Creation of official policies and procedures to ensure minimum service standards and efficiency.

  • Review final invoices for Accounting.

  • Coordinate onsite support/management of client events and support additional events as needed.

  • Proactively support team members growth and skill development.

  • Rollout of new key products, platform enhancements and features. Both internally and to client base.

  • Manage vendors.

  • Assist production team members and assign production timelines.

  • 30% of the job will include travel.

Preferred Qualities


  • Passion. Passion for life, hobbies, pets, books, sports, whatever it is we hire only passionate people.

  • Work experience as a Project Manager, Operational lead.

  • 5+ years of management of Key Accounts.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.

  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

  • Proven development of operational procedures and process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or commensurate experience.
